50th Annual SPAH Convention

Airport Renissance Hotel, St Louis, Missouri

SPAH is the Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonics

This is my second year as the stage manager for this wonderful event!
The conventions encompasses all genres of music including Classical, Jazz,
Cajun, Celtic, Bluegrass, Blues and anything else that may come through the
doors.  Mind numbing talent is heard eminating from every room and even
along the hallways as you walk fom one show or seminar to the next.

Many dozens of world class harmonica musicians from around the world flock to
this every year and mingle freely with the intermediate and beginning level players
who also attend.  There are seminars, workshops, formal shows, vendors... and
the infamous late night jam sessions which can run waaay into the wee hours.

There is an unofficial blues blowoff every year on Tuesday evening to kick things off
at an off site location, undoubtedly the greatest annual assembly of blues players on
the planet and should not be missed.  The "official" convention begins Wed morning.

See the SPAH website for details.
